Why students choose Poland

Public and private providers offer English-taught degrees in business, technology and health fields; accreditation and course language deserve a close check.

Warsaw, Kraków and Wrocław each combine a substantial student community with a different employer landscape.

Published fee guides can be accessible, but accommodation and specialist clinical fees need a fresh quote.

What these tuition figures coverThe national study portal gives an annual tuition guide of EUR 2,000–6,000, depending on the institution and course. This applies to fee-paying bachelor’s and second-cycle master’s study; MBA programmes commonly reach EUR 8,000–12,000. It is a published guide range rather than a new 2026 statistical average. Full-time Polish-language public study is tuition-free for students admitted on Polish-citizen terms; eligibility depends on nationality or residence status.
Typical living reference / month · EUR €330–€430 Housing and daily expenses depend on the city and your choices.

Older, undated government dorm-based guide (PLN 1,500–2,000, shown by the source as EUR 330–430). This is a low-cost reference, not a verified 2026 market budget or current currency conversion. Private rentals can cost substantially more; replace this default in the calculator.

Part-time work & careers

Eligible full-time students: permit exemption

Qualifying full-time students holding the appropriate Polish student visa or study residence permission can work without a separate work permit. This is a status-based exemption, not a universal hourly allowance. Part-time study and other residence statuses require separate checking.

After your degree

Graduates may apply for a nine-month temporary residence permit to look for work or establish a business. Full-time Polish higher-education graduates can be exempt from work-permit requirements, but still need a valid residence basis.
